7pm Cheer for our heroes

Every evening at 7:00pm, we cheer for the healthcare workers helping Covid-19 patients. In many neighbourhoods, many of us do it on our balconies using musical instruments that we have at home.

People are encouraged to bang pots and pans together during the cheer, but instruments are great to use at this time as well.

Find an instrument that you can sound during the cheer such as bells, kazoos, tambourines, and drums. You can also make your own drums using buckets and wooden spoons!

Tell me what you can find at home, be creative! Send a short video of yourself of you playing your instrument during the cheer.

Together in Our Hearts

This song is called “Together in Our Hearts.” It talks about ways that we stay connected even though we can’t be in the same spaces as our friends, teachers and maybe even some family members. Click on the link below!
